How long does it last?
Two hours: 90 minutes of cleaning while dancing, then 30 minutes of party at the meeting point, where we weigh every bag together, with a healthy alcohol-free aperitif.
Does it cost anything?
No. Taking part is free. Our sponsors cover the costs.
Do I need to book?
Yes, because places are limited by the number of headphones. Booking is free and takes a minute: choose a cleanup and fill in your name and email.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just water, sun cream and comfortable shoes. We hand out headphones, a T-shirt, a litter picker and a bag.
Can children come?
Yes, with an adult. We have smaller headphones and litter pickers too.
What happens to the waste?
We sort it on site and hand it over to the city’s recycling service.
Can my company take part?
Yes: as a sponsor of public cleanups, or with a private cleanup for your team as corporate volunteering or team building.
Can I bring Silent Plogging to my city?
Yes. The format is made to be repeated anywhere. Write to us and we will plan the first cleanup in your city together.
