Where your sponsorship goes

Taking part is free for volunteers. Sponsors cover what makes a silent plogging day happen.

  • Three live DJs

They play for the whole cleanup, one per headphone channel.

  • Silent disco headphones

Wireless headphones with three channels for every participant.

  • T-shirts with your logo

Printed for every volunteer and worn in every photo. In summer, caps and small gifts too.

  • Litter pickers, bags and scales

Everything to collect, sort and weigh the waste safely, including the group weigh-in at the end.

  • Healthy aperitif

Alcohol-free drinks and healthy snacks for everyone at the party after the cleanup.

  • Organisation and promotion

Permits, coordination, photos, video and communication before and after the day.

Three ways to take part

Every proposal is tailored to your company. Tell us your goals and we will send you one.

Sponsor a cleanup

Season partner

Several cleanups over the year, your logo on this website and in all our communication.

Team day

A private cleanup for your employees with DJs and headphones, as corporate volunteering or team building.

What your company gets

  • Your logo on every volunteer T-shirt
  • Photos and video from the day to share
  • A private cleanup for your team
  • A report with kilos collected and beaches cleaned
  • Your company card on this page, with the impact of every cleanup you funded

Why we do it

From a distance, beaches and parks look clean. Up close you find cigarette butts, bottle caps and fragments of plastic that sooner or later reach the sea.

  1. 7%

    of the world's microplastics

are in the Mediterranean, a sea that holds only 1% of the planet's water. [1]

  2. 26.1 kg

of plastic per km of coast, every day

build up on the shore of Barcelona, our first city: the second-highest figure in the Mediterranean. [2]

  3. 60

    million cigarette butts

collected in international coastal cleanups since 1986. They are the most common item of all. [3]

  4. 1

cigarette butt per litre of water

is enough to kill half of the fish exposed to it in laboratory tests. [4]

  5. +40%

    more litter in summer

reaches the Mediterranean when more than 200 million tourists visit its coasts. [1]

Our sponsors and what they made possible
